RETRACTABLE
Extendamatic contracts to approximately 15% of its extended length and has a swing radius of 252 degrees (extended or retracted). This allows 100% access to a lengthy protected area.
EASY TO USE
Extendamatic has a gliding action that makes it quick and easy to deploy or retract. The operator will enjoy the smooth, effortless operation and the simple, solid latching system. Drop pins can be used to anchor the gate to the floor, and are ergonomically designed to prevent operator stooping.
SAFE TO USE
Two-hand Anti-Pinch control keeps operator’s hands away from the mechanism during the gate retraction process. The gate locks up when link spacing reaches 2-3/4”and can not be fully retracted unless the two-hand control is used.
STRONG AND RIGID
All steel rigid construction. Extendamatic does not sag, flop or bend. Because Extendamatic is NOT riveted together, it is completely repairable in case of accidental damage. 5-inch bearing-type Durastan casters have a 500 lb. capacity. Drop-pins to the floor, when used, are 3/4-inch steel. Latching Pin is 3/4-in steel as well and can be padlocked.
CLEARS OBSTRUCTIONS
Rigid construction makes it possible for Extendamatic to support itself without a caster (up to 100-inches). This allows the gate to clear floor obstructions such as conduit, curbs, gutters, etc. Many configuration combinations are available that allow even the most difficult areas to be guarded.
INTERLOCK
Extendamatic gates can be internally wired to accommodate electrical interlock. Custom Mounting Pads for customer supplied interlock devices can be installed to guarantee a perfect match on every gate closure, every time.
CONFIGURABLE
(See Section on Floor Plans)
Extendamatic has considerable experience protecting difficult to guard areas, while still providing total access to the area for loading or servicing. It can also attach to, and travel with, a moving machine.
ALL-WEATHER POWDERCOAT FINISH
Duralac industrial quality powdercoating throughout assures environmental protection, both indoors and out. Only the highest quality machine components are used in construction.
Compatible with OSHA requirements.
When configured properly, Extendamatic can easily withstand the 200 lb.
side force required by OSHA.
