Slide-A-Matic is a sliding panel safety fence that provides substantial worker protection or security. It is also a retractable gate that swings to the side when access is required. An opening of up to 20-feet can be covered with a single gate.

RETRACTABLE
Slide-A-Matic is available in up to six panels which provides protection to an opening of 20-feet, yet it contracts to the width of a single panel (51.5”) and swings to the side in order to allow 100% access to a protected area when required. See "Product Features" for sizes.

Slide-A-Matic has a smooth, gliding action that makes it quick and easy to deploy or retract. A unique latching system allows operator access from either side of the gate. The heavy-duty steel Latch can be padlocked which allows it to function as a security gate as well.

Slide-A-Matic does not require an overhead suspension or floor-tracking in order to operate. Panels extend/retract one-by-one in sequence and the entire gate can rotate to the side to allow complete access to an area. No other cage-type gating can do this.

All steel rigid construction. Even though Slide-A-Matic is ultra thin (less than 1-inch thickness for each panel), it provides exceptional rigidity over the length of its span. The latching system is very strong, assures proper alignment of the gate, and cannot be compromised.

Sliding mechanisms tend to bind on uneven floors. Slide-A-Matic utilizes a unique leveling system that allow each panel to adjust to variations in floor leveling. It's 3-inch, non-marking, swivel casters can also navigate minor floor irregularities, such as cracks, seams, and flush mounted floor tracks.

Slide-A-Matic can operate as a 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 panel gate. Two gates can be brought together from opposing directions or from different angles to form a pen enclosure. This is particularly effective in the case of enclosing robots.

All steel rigid construction with an ultra thin profile. Standard insert is 2-inch welded wire, however, expanded metal or other insert material may also be used. Contact us with your requirements. See Specifications and Sizes page for more information on insert choices.

Compatible with OSHA requirements.
When configured properly latched, Slide-A-Matic can easily withstand the 200 lb. side force required by OSHA.
